I went to the Houston Zoo today. Thankfully there were a lot of clouds and a gentle (sometimes) breeze and although I had on a hat and sunglasses, it was still hot enough to make me one salty (literally) person. It was nice, but next time, I think I'll wait until winter time. By the way, I've got 10944 steps in so far today. I think I'll sleep good tonight.

I love going to the zoo and always try to find a cool stop under the trees. There is lots of shade and a welcome breeze.

The Zoo is always a fun place to visit, but early Spring and Winter are usually the most comfortable weather times to go there. We haven't been there in a few years, but are planning to go there when the temperature is cooler.
