Suspect Detained After Alleged Arson Incident in Katy Neighborhood
Constable Terry Allbritton's Deputies responded to the 2600 block of Planters House Ln. after receiving reports of a male igniting a fire at a residence. When deputies arrived, the suspect was located and taken into custody without incident. Investigators also recovered multiple incendiary items along with a firearm in his possession. The Harris County Fire Marshal’s Office responded and took over the investigation. Crews from Harris County ESD 48 Fire Department and Westlake Volunteer Fire Department assisted with extinguishing the fire. No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.

Wow! Glad someone reported the arsonist before more damage could be done to the home. Hope the suspect has to stay in jail without bond.
