Deputies Arrest Driver Found Asleep at Katy School Bus Stop

On March 26, 2026, deputies with Constable Terry Allbritton’s Office responded to the 1400 block of Orsini Lane after receiving a report of a man asleep behind the wheel at a school bus stop.

Upon arrival, deputies made contact with the driver and observed signs of intoxication after waking him. A DWI investigation was conducted on scene, including Standardized Field Sobriety Tests.

The driver was subsequently arrested for Driving While Intoxicated.

Terrible!! Glad he was stopped and nobody was in the way of him to potentially get hurt.
