Katy ISD Dance Teams Shine at State CompetitionAll 10 Katy Independent School District dance teams recently took the floor at the Texas Dance Educators Association State Indoor Spring Competition and Assessment, joining programs from across the state in an event focused on performance, evaluation and the future of drill team competition.The initiative, led by the Texas Dance Educators Association, gathers performance data to help guide potential future proposals to the University Interscholastic League.Katy ISD teams were part of a statewide effort helping shape the next chapter for dance and drill team programs across Texas while showcasing the skill, discipline and artistry of student performers.
