New restaurant review!

New restaurant review!Ember + Lotus is a new restaurant in Katy, Texas on Mason Road and this is the first time we've gotten to go here. But it will not be our last.
My husband and I both got the Ember Pad Thai. He got his with Rib Eye and I got the Burnt Ends. I loved the Burnt Ends but the Rib Eye was better. The noodles were perfect and I loved the small dish of crushed peanuts to sprinkle over it; the dish was delicious!
Our son got a Cashew Burnt End dish that I can't remember the name of. It was so new it's not yet on their website menu and they told him he was the very first person to ever order it. He said it was amazing and because of the variety of the ingrediants, each bite was different; he loved it.
For dessert we got the Mango and Coconut Sticky Rice. Oh wow! That was so delicious. I never knew rice could make such a great dessert.
The people there we all so nice and even got to talk to the the owners. Super sweet people. Since it's only five minutes from our house I anticipate we be going there enough times to try everything on their growing menu.
