Major Drug Bust: Meth and Heroin Seized; Two ArrestedDeputies with Constable Ted Heap's Strategic Response Unit, working with their partners at the US Marshals Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Task Force, arrested two wanted felons in Northwest Houston on Thursday, August 24, 2023. More than 400 grams of crystal meth and 4 grams of heroin were seized in the warrant execution along with a handgun.Blake Umatum, 38, and Taylor Hammons, 29, were arrested without incident. Umatum is charged with possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute, felon in possession of a firearm and felony parole violation.
