Houston/Galveston National Weather Service Free Virtual Skywarn Spotter Training courses

Learn how to identify and report severe weather in your area to the National Weather Service Meteorologists. US National Weather Service Houston-Galveston Texas has virtual Skywarn classes coming up! There's a basic class taking place this Thursday, January 21, 2021 as well as an advanced course on February 9, 2021. All classes are free and open to all members of the public! Their new webinar format allows you to take SKYWARN courses from the comfort of your own home, wherever you are across SE Texas.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.

I missed the course yesterday. Had to assist my elderly neighbor. Hope I can get into the Feb 9th course and it won't be too advanced since I didn't attend the first one.
