Florida Murder Suspect Caught In Precinct 5
Deputies from Constable Ted Heap's Strategic Response Unit, working with their partners at the US Marshal's Service, arrested a suspected murderer wanted on four felony counts out of the Tampa area.
Antonio Juan Carlos Almaraz-Barbosa, 26, was arrested on May 18, 2023 in the 4200 block of S. Kirkwood. He is accused of stabbing his co-worker to death in April, setting the body on fire, stealing the victim's truck and fleeing the state.
Almaraz-Barbosa had four felony warrant at the time of his arrest: one count of capital homicide, one count of second degree felony abuse to a dead human, one count of third degree felony tampering with physical evidence, and one count of third degree felony grand theft motor vehicle. He is being extradited back to Florida. #constabletedheap #yourconstable
