The FBI Violent Crime Task Force needs the public's help identifying and locating an armed man who robbed a BBVA Compass Bank on Monday in west Houston.
Crime Stoppers of Houston is also offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information which leads to the identification and arrest of the robber.
The robbery occurred at approximately 4:24 p.m. on Monday, July 8, 2019, at the BBVA Compass Bank located at 1575 Eldridge Parkway.
The suspect entered the bank, approached a teller, and threatened the teller while demanding cash. As the teller was organizing the cash, the robber lifted up his shirt and displayed a black pistol. He fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of money. No one was physically hurt during the robbery.
The robber is described as a black male in his late 20s to early 30s, approximately 5'9" tall, with a heavy build. During the robbery, he wore silver sunglasses, a tan bucket hat, a maroon sweatshirt, tan cargo pants, and black boots.
