Do you ever wonder what life was like in the 1800's in Texas? Join KISD at the 37th Annual Katy ISD Folk Life Festival for a hands-on experience into the lives of early Texas pioneers! Come by the Kenneth D. Welch Outdoor Learning Center on Saturday, April 1, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m for a fun day of activities and presentations! For more information, see below.

The Katy ISD Outdoor Learning Center will be transformed into scenes from the late 1800's, as many demonstrations and activities of pioneer life are recreated.
The Outdoor Learning Center (OLC) is located about 1/4 mile west of the Katy ISD Administration building at 6301 South Stadium Lane, Katy, Texas.
