URGENT - KATY, TX: I NEED A SAFE PLACE FOR MYSELF AND MY TWO PETS TONIGHT
I'm reaching out to my local community because I'm facing homelessness tonight, and I desperately need a chance to get back on my feet.
After my grandmother passed away, I lost my job and housing. I recently paid someone for temporary accommodation and bought groceries for the household, only for them to move out with my money. I now have $0, my car is out of gas, and I have nowhere to go tonight.
I have a cat and a dog who are my family. I will not abandon them, and I'm looking for a room or temporary arrangement that will accept all three of us.
I'm willing to work, cook, clean, help with household tasks, provide IT and computer assistance, or pay reasonable rent once I have income again. I want to contribute and rebuild my independence; I just need a safe opportunity to do so.
If anyone in Katy has a spare room, knows a homeowner who needs a live-in helper, or can connect me with someone willing to offer temporary accommodation, please message me. I cannot travel because I have no fuel, so help from someone local would mean everything.
